Learn Spanish in an authentic language environment in Latin America. The one to two-week basic course for Spanish as a foreign language in Guatemala is aimed at anyone who would like to attend a language course tailored to their learning needs as part of an educational vacation and get to know Bolivian culture at the same time.

The course is taught by native Spanish speakers. All four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are given equal attention. In addition, participants in the language course have the opportunity to take advantage of many different leisure activities to get to know the country's culture.

Spanish is the mother tongue of almost 400 million people and is the second most commonly learned foreign language after English.

San Pedro

Breathtaking views over Lake Atitlan, the heart of Mayan culture in the city center with its colorful market, the lively café and bar scene... For many, San Pedro has everything the heart desires. Our campus is surrounded by lush gardens on the shores of Lake Atitlan. During class, you can listen to the birds sing, watch the hummingbirds fly, hear the sound of the waves and enjoy a spectacular panorama of the lake.

San Marcos
Only 15 minutes by boat from San Pedro, but a world of difference... Our campus in San Marcos is located in a completely new and quiet piece of land, within easy reach and yet far enough away from the main roads. A cozy village with breathtaking views of the volcanoes, excellent restaurants, a variety of health and spiritual offerings. Learn Spanish under our traditional thatched palapas and soak up the atmosphere of San Marcos!

San Juan

For many years, San Juan has resisted the increasing influx of tourists, unlike its neighbors San Pedro and San Marcos. Your stay in San Juan will therefore be characterized by an authentic slow rhythm and an authentic way of life. San Juan is also known for its center of weaving and ceramic arts, as well as archeology and herbal medicine. The learning environment of our beautiful gardens rounds off the stay.

Quetzaltenango
In “Xela”, the second large city in Guatemala, our campus is located in the heart of the old town on a quiet side street, just 5 minutes away from Central Park, which combines traditional and modern ambience. You'll get your money's worth in this city, with its beautiful cafes, colonial architecture and many bustling markets to explore. .

The Spanish intensive course: Our partner school offers intensive Spanish courses at all levels for beginners to advanced students. The personalized and interactive teaching method (1 to 2 students per teacher) allows you to learn Spanish at your own pace and the teacher can respond to your personal wishes and needs.

Immerse yourself in Guatemalan culture!

The offerings from our local cooperation partners don’t end with the language courses. The language school cooperates with a social initiative that supports the education of local children. With every week of language course you book, you provide a child with a week of school lessons and/or a week of meals. Both are urgently needed! Combine your language holiday with a meaningful task.
