Learn Arabic in an authentic language environment against a picturesque Mediterranean backdrop. The one- to two-week basic course for Arabic as a foreign language in the capital of Lebanon is aimed at anyone who would like to attend a language course tailored to their learning needs as part of an educational vacation and get to know Arabic culture at the same time.
The course is taught by native Arabic speakers. All four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are given equal attention. In addition, participants in the language course have the opportunity to take advantage of many different leisure activities to get to know the culture of the country. Arabic is the official language for over 330 million inhabitants in 21 countries, but the entire Islamic world, in which Arabic is also commonly spoken, comprises 57 countries and around 1.8 billion people. More information here.
Note: The language courses are recognized by the Senate of Berlin and Hesse.
Learning objectives: Arabic letters and sounds, gender, definite article, nisba adjective, forming sentences, interrogative pronoun, plural, equational sentences, possessive pronouns
Learning content: basic courtesies such as greeting, introducing oneself, saying goodbye; giving and understanding simple biographical information; talking about family and work, understanding simple dialogs

Learning content: Having conversations about hobbies, leisure, educational, social, and cultural events, geography, traveling; using an Arabic dictionary; reading simple newspaper reports
Prices per week: 30 lessons for € 936.00; (only private lessons currently possible)
Prices for two weeks 60 hours for 1872,00 Euro (only private lessons currently possible)
A different number of hours can be requested.
Registration fee: 50€
!! Prices only apply if the course starts on the first Monday of the month. Afterwards you can add as many weeks as you wish.
Accommodation: in hostel 751 Euro for two weeks, student residence 550 Euro for two weeks
