Intensive course as educational leave

Learn Japanese in an authentic language environment in Japan. The one to two-week basic course for Japanese as a foreign language in Tokyo, one of the world's largest metropolises, is aimed at anyone who would like to attend a language course tailored to their learning needs during an educational vacation and get to know the culture at the same time.

The course is taught by native speakers of Japanese. All four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are given equal attention. In addition, participants in the language course have the opportunity to take advantage of many different leisure activities to get to know the country's culture.

Location information

Tokyo is one of the most dynamic cities in the world. Not only is it the capital of Japan, but also the center of Japanese business life, media, art and the entertainment industry. The intersection of tradition and modernity is particularly fascinating. In Tokyo you will find breathtaking skyscrapers side by side with traditional shrines and temples. Away from the busy streets, there are also steadily growing residential areas where life is even quieter. Tokyo is the ideal place to combine the exciting pace of the big city with a more tranquil rhythm.

Language courses in Tokyo, the capital of Japan

Our partner school in Tokyo has been dedicated to teaching Japanese for over 30 years. While many other language schools in Japan cater primarily to students from China and Korea who need Japanese for their university entrance exams, our partner school caters to a broad international audience. This makes the language lessons more diverse both in terms of content and class composition and is more suitable for students from all over the world who are interested in learning Japanese for more than just academic reasons.

Japanese conversation course

In our conversation course, participants can improve their Japanese communication skills in a fun and efficient way.

All benefits and information at a glance:
- Recognition as educational leave possible. Private lessons must be taken in addition to the course.
- Course as educational leave: 20 lessons per week of 60 minutes + 10 private lessons of 60 minutes each (usually conversation course in the morning and private lessons in the afternoon)
- Small group size: min. 2, max. 8 participants per class
- Course starts every Monday (exception: beginners)*
- Course books can be chosen with either Japanese or Roman alphabet

Our partner school will be happy to arrange your accommodation on request. You can choose between guest houses, business hotels and accommodation with a Japanese host family.
